Can you minimize deep wrinkles? YES, YOU CAN!
Do you have deep lines around your eyes, aka crow's feet? If so, your skin needs care. Nourished, moisturized skin stays soft, smooth, and supple. Although most people don't believe it, aging skin is reversible without the pain and expense of surgery.
Shallow lines around our eyes are normal as we age. I call them laugh lines, and if you've got them, it just means you smile a lot, and that's a good thing. You just don't want them to get too deep, but inevitably that is what neglected skin will endure.
Spending five (5) minutes morning & night applying moisturizer(s) around your eyes will keep them youthful looking and begin to reverse aging effects that have already begun. End results to change aging skin may vary from person to person and do not happen overnight. It usually takes weeks to start noticing a difference, but with due diligence, you will see change. I am a prime example of aging skin reversal.
I first became passionate about taking care of my skin at age 16 when I noticed lines around my eyes. 16-year-olds SHOULD NOT have wrinkles. I had moved to Florida and was in the pool and sun often with little protection from UV rays. So I started using sunscreen & moisturizers on my skin and the lines began to fade. After some years, I got married, had children, and had a full-time job. I was extremely busy and got little sleep. As a result, my skin definitely got neglected and suffered.
I retired fairly young at age 49 and had some serious lines around my eyes. I no longer worked and my kids were grown so I began diligently working on taking back my youthful appearance. I researched ingredients and soon began using premium quality products that weren't over the top expensive. It took about a year but my lines faded and now at age 58 I almost look better than I did in my 20s. Ok, that might be a bit of an exaggeration but I am happy with my youthful-looking skin.
Because I was seeing a massive difference in my skin, I became even more passionate about skincare, which is why I started up Irresistibly Ageless in hopes of educating others on how important it really is to take care of the largest organ you have.
My final word before getting into causes & fixes of crow's feet is 1) you have to care about your skin and its condition, and 2) you must start an anti-aging skincare routine and stick with it. Again, it's 5 minutes in the morning and 5 minutes at night....and it's all up to you.
The main causes of crow's feet
The skin around your eyes is very thin and has no oil glands
Exposure to UVA/UVB sunlight causes DNA changes in the skin
Dehydration
Environmental pollutants attacking the skin
Poor nutrition in your diet
How to discourage & soften crow's feet:
Use anti-aging, antioxidant-rich moisturizing eye creams & serums daily
Reduce exposure to toxins
Minimize sun exposure
Wear hats and/or protective sunglasses
Eat a healthy diet
Drink lots of water
If you care about your skin and how you look, begin an anti-aging, antioxidant-rich skincare routine and stick with it. Build up your collagen and restore skin elasticity; over time, you will see a younger-looking you.
